When Were Tarot Cards Invented & When To Read
When tarot cards are reversed
A card is reversed when it lands face-down-up in a spread — either by the shuffle's physics or (in some traditions) by deliberate reversal at draw. Meaning: the card's upright themes come with a twist — turning inward, delayed, blocked or overdone. Whether you read reversals is a style choice; roughly half of working readers do.
