Can Tarot Predict the Future? Possible vs Probable
Can tarot cards predict the future, death or love? What cards can honestly show — and what they cannot.
No card sees a dated future
Nothing in tarot delivers 'you'll get the job on the 14th'. Cards speak in tendencies and present energy: leaning-toward, this-path-leads-to. Anyone promising exact futures is selling, not reading.
What cards do show
Probability: pull the current trajectory and the Outcome position projects it — if nothing changes. That's useful precisely because you can change it.
Emotional truth: which parts of a decision frighten you, and which part you secretly want.
Timing metaphors: cycles (Wands), seasons (Swords), harvests (Pentacles) — never calendars.
Death, love and the 'forbidden' questions
Readings about death are about transformation, endings and grief — real, useful and non-literal. Health questions always end in the advice to consult professionals. Love questions are the most requested and the most honest: cards describe connection patterns, not whether a text arrives by Friday. Treat tarot like a forecast for plans, not a verdict for life.
