Why tarot cards work

They work because structure reveals what feeling alone circles endlessly: five positions force your vague worry into a story with a past cause, a present tension, a hidden weight, a suggested move and a direction. Good prompts do this in writing; tarot does it visually. That's the whole engine — no magic required, magic not excluded either.
