Why are tarot cards so expensive

Boutique decks carry real costs: original art (78 images), thick cardstock, specialty printing in small runs, plus the retailer cut. Mass-market Rider–Waite editions dodge most of that and stay around $15. When a single 'deck' is priced like a luxury bag, you're paying for mystique, not manufacturing.
