Is tarot cards black magic?

No — black magic implies deliberately invoking harm through occult power, and tarot contains no invocation mechanics at all. It is also not neutral 'white magic' — it is closer to a Rorschach with better artwork. Cards cannot curse, cannot bless and cannot open anything; treat any reader who claims otherwise as a red flag.
