Reversals happen at the shuffle: roughly 30% of well-run draws are upside down, depending on the reader's shuffle practice. Mechanically, a reversed card gets read as the upright meaning turned inward, delayed, blocked or excessive. Beginners can absolutely skip reversals, but the full 78-card system includes them and we don't hide them from you.
