Can tarot cards predict death?

No — and the Death card does not predict dying either. In the literal system of the deck, Death carries meanings of ending and transformation: a job ending, a lease letting go, a relationship chapter closing. If a reader ever claims your mortality from a spread, walk out; if that fear is really on your mind, real professionals (medical, financial, legal) are the right call.
